From the Gastronomy Guild of the Centre d'Arts Santa Mònica for the 2024-2025 edition, composed of Mohammad Alsharqawi, Alejandro Granero Ferrer, and Yazel Parra Nahmens, we explore the somatic, spiritual, and political dimensions of food, connecting culinary practices with ritual and community processes. Our research lines include: the dietetics of the spirit, the prelinguistic stage of food, and the delocalization of flavors. Through this, we seek to establish a dialogue between body and soul, hospitality and social transformation. Through personal narratives, cultural exchanges, and philosophical reflections, we approach food as a tool for resistance and collective connection. Our research extends into practices of care, coexistence, and artistic mediation.
