ACCESSIBILITY
At Santa Mònica, we understand art as a right and embrace our public function as a common good, committed to being an open, inclusive, and accessible institution for everyone. That is why we continuously work to expand and improve accessibility resources, both in our facilities and in the content and programmes.
We currently provide various accessibility resources:
Physical Accessibility
Elevator (80 cm door) providing access to all floors.
Ramp (6º incline) providing access to the cloister.
Reception desk at an accessible height of 86 cm.
Accessible lockers.
Rest areas with seating in the Bar room, terrace, and participatory space.
Portable folding chairs for both adults and children, available in the participatory space.
Wheelchair available on request.
Parking space (not reserved) for vehicles with a permit in the loading and unloading zone.
Visual Accessibility
Large-print room texts available on request.
Inclusive signage throughout the center.
Magnifying glass available on request.
Accessibility Challenges
First-floor restrooms have an accessible interior but a door width of 75 cm.
The elevator has an accessible cabin but a door width of 80 cm.
Interior stairs and ramps are not marked with visual or tactile indicators.
No tactile guidance path from the entrance to the reception desk.
