GOAP is a research group that meets periodically once a month during the year 2024 at the Santa Monica to discuss texts or works at the crossroads between thought, aesthetics and psychoanalysis.

GOAP brings together philosophers as well as artists and psychoanalysts, with a clearly interdisciplinary purpose, to think and discuss together both theoretical and practical fields, especially in the world of political art.

GOAP is an open group in a double sense: on the one hand, internally, without a pre-fixed plan in advance about which themes, authors or "disciplines" can be touched upon; and, on the other hand, externally, it is also open to consider new incorporations from outside interested in the subject.

GOAP will hold three public sessions a year, in the framework of the Thursdays of voice and word, where anyone is invited to witness the latest debates, reflections and discussions that have taken place in this research group.

GOAP arises from a collaboration with the research project Post-foundational Contemporary Thought: Theoretical-critical analysis of contemporary ontologies of negativity and the question of the violence of the foundation (PID2020-117069GB-I00), based at the University of Barcelona, with three objects of study: political ontology, aesthetics and gender.
