How do we deal with the inherited inertias that lead us to subjugate people, animals and landscapes? Can we do anything about natural disasters? Is there a way to undo injustices? How many violent impositions do we experience every day? We are victims and executioners, all at the same time.

We are afraid that everything will explode, we are frightened by what those who came before us have left us and what we leave to those who will come after us, and we are horrified when we discover the suffering we inflict on those close to us.

We wait for miraculous answers that will solve the ills of the world and that will prevail over our collective stupidity: we repent and regret our mistakes, we invoke fortune, we make promises..., but change does not come and we are already in a hurry to live in peace. We wait for miracles that will not come.

I am a philologist and sculptor by training, but for some time now I've just wanted to work on the idea of how we relate to nature and how we feel about the transformations we have generated in the world.

I live and work in Barcelona and look after a plot of olive trees in Terres de l'Ebre (and he looks after me).
