Nuestra casa es una cabina telefónica

Lucía Lijtmaer

Obra

15 September 2016 - 08 January 2017

A text in the form of a uchronic story that reflects, through a choral voice, on what a home means for those on the margins of the official narrative, whatever it may be. The body of the text is divided into "the portal", the search for a place of rest and repose; "pleasure", in which the home is also a place of enjoyment, celebration and eroticism; "rest", in which the notion of home is introduced as a space of sociability, care and everyday life around a table; and finally "the fairies in the square", in which the need for all difference is extolled and the dichotomy between the public and the private is posed as the true institutional barrier and social order.
