Tasting of wild edible plants found in the natural environment of Catalonia
General public
Activity open to everyone and free of charge, limited to 55 people
Menu of the day: wild gastronomy is a meeting of collective food that invites us to recognize, harvest and taste edible wild flowers and plants that we can find in the natural environment of Catalonia. We will harvest marigolds and nettles among other species grown collectively with Eixarcolant; we will taste wild flowers and plants collected by Naturalwalks from the natural environment of Catalonia and; with Evarist March Sarlat, we will learn about their main culinary uses, as well as their more traditional uses, some more innovative applications or their special medicinal properties.
Menu of the day is a cycle of two meetings that aim to reflect on contemporary food practices and policies by addressing the relational nature of food through the act of sharing a meal together.
