The desire to procreate is a polysemic desire that abounds with possibilities as well as the innumerable pressures and oppressions women face as they reach maturity. Parto illuminates the process through which women expel and relieve themselves of the burden of this social construct, clearing a route to other horizons. A narrowing corridor evokes three stages in the life of a single woman, or of all women: sexual desire, the desire to be a mother, and the desire to be free.

On the other side, rebirth.
