Taller de tecnologies de cartells

In this workshop we will learn some of the analogue technologies developed by the artist Clive Booth for the creation of his posters. He also invites us to play with the possibilities of what he calls "direct communication".

Clive is a poet, activist, anti-capitalist and DIY devotee. A well-known figure on the streets of Barcelona, Clive Booth has been protesting for many years against the increasingly invasive tourist industry in the city. In this workshop with Clive, we will learn about some of his witty and ingenious ideas.

Clive Booth will lead the participants of this workshop in a collective performance on the Ramblas on Saturday 15/04 at 3pm. No previous experience is necessary.

Clive Booth is an artist of English origin, established in Barcelona since 1977. For him, meeting "Las Ramblas" in Barcelona was his salvation, the key moment in his life. After more than 40 years he continues to take to the streets of Barcelona with his works with a strong component of social criticism but always with humour as a resource that he uses in different media: stories, objects, posters, models or actions.
