Aperitiu a la Foneria dels Canons

The public space protest will take place in Portal de la Pau square, where we will present the Foneria dels Canons building as a prominent part of the Ramblas axis. The publicly-owned building has belonged to the Generalitat of Catalunya since 2004 and has been vacant for over 20 years. The lack of neighborhood facilities and the deterioration of the current ones make the emblematic heritage building claimed by the residents of the Gothic neighbourhood for community use; initially proposed for the relocation of the primary care center Gòtic, but it did not succeed. From Utopia Rambles, we join the neighborhood demand to celebrate the street and the arts from the places we want to recover for the city and its people. And we do so collectively invoking from culture, art, and community neighbourhoods, the place that opens the door to the Ramblas.
