Nan vodou ayisyen an, Guédés yo se espri lanmò. Samdi, Baron an konvoke nan yon seremoni pou libere tout moun k ap soufri nan mond lan akoz kolonizasyon. Pyès sa a fè apèl a espirityalite vodou kòm yon fòm gerizon kont vyolans kolonyal. Nan yon monn san Ewòp, Baron Samedi ansanm ak rès Gédés yo monte nan sant yon naratif mawon anti-futuris pou resisite tan ak sans mond lan blese mòtèl nan vyolans kolonize ak rasis.

In Haitian voodoo, the Guédés are spirits of death. Baron Samedi is summoned to a ceremony to free all the people who are suffering in the world as the result of colonisation. This piece invokes voodoo spirituality as a form of healing from colonial violence. In a world without Europe, Baron Samedi, along with the rest of the Guédés, rises in the midst of a maroon anti-futurist narrative to resurrect time and the senses of worlds that have been mortally wounded by colonising and racist violence.
