The void can take many forms. This installation rehearses ways of shaping it. It begins with the text and continues through space, hearing and the gaze.
A woman drives a car. The camera shows the image from the windscreen. She stares at it while holding the steering wheel. A landscape is visible in the rear window. The countryside is flat under an overcast sky. Trees and the outline of mountains can be seen in the distance. Suddenly lightning flashes and strikes the road behind her. She hears the thunder and looks back, but the lightning is no longer there. She looks back at the road and continues driving. There is another flash and the sky thunders again. He turns his head again, but doesn't see it. Another bolt of lightning strikes and he turns his head even faster but the lightning is no longer there.
