Dijous de veu i paraula

‘This performance questions the idea of work as an ontological truth, exploring why society assumes it as a fundamental pillar of identity and human existence. Through real testimonies collected in interviews, the work gives voice to diverse experiences about the relationship between personal life and work, revealing tensions, contradictions and desires to break with the established work model. Through the body, the word and the stage space, the audience is invited to reflect on what it really means to work and whether it is possible to imagine other ways of living’.

Manué Cañá (Manuel Ramírez Arjona), a multidisciplinary artist from Malaga, graduated from ESAD as an actor and furthered his training with Gaspar Campuzano and Sanchis Sinisterra, among others. He stands out in the play La legalidad del mal, with which he won the award for best actor in MálagaCrea 2022. One of his latest plays is Voces de Barro, a collective creation with Surterráneo Teatro. In performance, his work in Claudio Davio's Umano at the Venice Biennale 2022, Pan Pa' Hoy with Sara Gema at La Tèrmica and Oficina de Desempleo at Desempeño Fest.
