We live in a continuation of the colonialist system. Modernity and capitalism were not a rupture but, on the contrary, a continuation of the system of thought that orders lives among those who have more or less right to live. We propose a route for thinking about the border industry as a complex network of legal, economic, cultural, physical and epistemic technologies that sustain the colonial order in the everyday, while we accompany ourselves with anti-colonial and anti-racist projects that fight for the existence and dignified lives of people who are traversed by this world order.
