"To understand who we are, it is necessary to travel to our origins.

After 20 years of researching the gut microbiome and its impacts on our health, both physical and mental, I have recently realised that to eat well, take good care of ourselves and understand our bodies, it is necessary to visit our origins.

I use the Voyager meditation as my tool to take you on an interstellar journey from the beginning of the universe to deep inside our bodies.

We will bathe in the Cosmic Soup to connect with our origins and feel at home in the universe. We will talk to the first bacteria because their direct descendants still live in our bodies. We call them the gut microbiome. They are the memory of our immune system and our "second brain".

This is the longest story we know, a tale that has been unfolding for 13.819 billion years. One of its offspring is us, human beings. A hairless, bipedal animal with dexterous hands and a big head that knows how to meditate.

This meditation will make you relax, connect with your gut microbiome and start listening to your immune system.

Beyond helping you digest food, your gut microbiome has its own brain-like neural network that plays a critical role in keeping you healthy, including regulating inflammation and controlling your immune system.

Close your eyes, relax your body, breathe slowly, Voyager will take off in a few moments.

Bon voyage".
