Nidra is a state of sleep, of deep but conscious sleep induced through guided meditation. Our body is totally relaxed and our mind becomes increasingly aware of our inner world. Nidra is practised in a lying position and in complete stillness, following the instructions of the person guiding the experience.
In this Carne Viva session, Verushka Sirit will explain the basics of Yoga Nidra and then guide us with her voice accompanied by music in a deep relaxation session.
Carne Viva is a stable group working on body, discomfort and political imagination for the creation of tools for somatic and emotional healing. One Thursday a month Carne Viva proposes an open activity in the exhibition spaces of Santa Mónica to activate a somatic exploration in relation to the contents of the exhibition.

Workshop promoted by the Participation Guild of Santa Mònica
One Thursday a month at 11am, in the exhibition spaces of Santa Mònica, we open Carne Viva for all those who want to connect with matter, flesh and breath.
In these sessions we will establish, through the body, a dialogue with the exhibition Dozing on the accidental provocation.
Carne Viva is born as an initiative of the Participation guild, as part of the actions of a device/space/zone of collective learning to take care of our mental health and meet our senses.
