Nico Roig. Nico Roig is the creator of delicate, tender music in form but with biting content not bereft of black humour. His hyper-realistic lyrics are one of the most hallmarks of his exceptional music which describes everything from the death and burial of his grandmother to the treatise on macabre women to predicting the future of a shrimp in a cooked dish when he analyses the human genome. Beyond signature pop, Nico Roig serves as a guitarist and arranger in many styles. He has flirted with jazz, contemporary classic and improvisation, and he had played on tour in Japan, Holland, Italy and Spain.

Zeidun. There is no doubt that a band’s personality is not defined solely by its music. Zeidun (which has been together, with a few hiatuses, since 1998) is a clear example of this. Or more accurately, it is a unique case of this! The band’s line-up speaks for itself: Joan Colomo, Dalmau Boada (Esperit!, Les Aus), Xavi Garcia (the Surfing Sirles), Albert Trabal (Orquestra Sant Celoni) and Càndid Coll (Autodestrucció). And the sum of the parts is as unpredictable as it is addictive. Few bands are capable of offering such brilliance based on total wrongness. Delirious melodies, informality, charm… anything can happen at any of their concerts. And seeing how its members have been the seed of the most interesting musical projects that have emerged around here in the past decade, the adventure that they will offer us is simply a must-see.
