JOIN SANTA MÒNICA

Do you want to program, exhibit, perform, collaborate, work, or do an internship with us? We’ll explain how to do it in each case.

The Santa Mònica, as a public centre attached to the Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC), is subject to the Public Sector Contracts Law regarding the processing and awarding of service, supply, and construction contracts necessary for carrying out its activities.

You can find open tenders and competitions on the public procurement services platform

Currently, the centre only exhibits its own productions around debates and lines of work proposed by the curatorial committees.

If you still want to present an artistic proposal, you can contact info.santamonica@gencat.cat and the centre team and the curatorial boards active at the time will evaluate it.

You can also check out the Calls section, where we publish open calls for specific projects.

The Sala Bar’s programme of activities is curated by different groups, artists and entities invited annually, who propose a diverse and polyphonic plurality of experimental sessions.

You can send your proposal to the programming group that you believe best fits your project, so that they can evaluate it and, if appropriate, include it in the programme. For more information, see the “Who are we?” section on the Santa Mònica page.

The Mòniques are artists who work in residence for eleven months at Santa Mònica. They are chosen through a call published every spring aimed at transdisciplinary creators who work in the relational and/or participatory field and who wish to develop lines of applied research and artistic experimentation at the centre. Find all the information on the procedures portal of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The research groups are specialized groups invited to promote lines of research of interest to the centre that arise from the creative processes and debates of the exhibition cycles.

If you are interested in any of the lines of work in progress, contact us and we will put you in touch with the corresponding group.
