Open Call to the Invocation Mailbox #2

We open a second mailbox for the invocation of insurrectionary dreams, non-hegemonic languages and idioms.

We invoke rebellion to overflow what is understood as normal through a place where you can release something you want to share, expose, summon, ask for, expel...

A place that contains and exposes voices, gestures, sounds that have no space-access in the modern colonial-capacitist ''normality''.

To participate send your text-gesture* via text, voice or video message until the 30th of June. It can be via Telegram (https://t.me/+YYOzOwkw0-s4Yzc8), by email gremiparticipacio@santamonica.builders or physically in the lobby of the Santa Mònica.

*The audios and videos will be transcribed-audiodescribed. If you can do it yourself, please also send us the transcription or audio-description.

*If you do not express otherwise, the texts-gestures may be shared in fragments or in their entirety on the Santa Mònica website and in the buzónzine (mailbox fanzine).

*If you want to record an audio of your text, come to Violeta Ospina Domínguez  on 30 March, 27 April, 25 May, 29 June, between 17h - 20h.

نحن نفتح صندوق البريد الثاني لاستدعاء أحلام التمرد؛ والأصوات و التعبيرات اللغوية غير المهيمنة.

نستدعي التمرد لتجاوز ما يُفهم أنه عادي عن طريق مكان للتحرر من أي شيء ترغب في مشاركته أو عرضه أو استدعائه أو طلبه أو التخلص منه...

مكان يحتوي على الأصوات والأفكار والأصوات التي لا يمكن الوصول إليها في "الحياة الطبيعية" الاستعمارية التمييزية الحديثة.

Violeta Ospina Domínguez.
he is an artist, performer, educator and promoter of collaborative projects that pay special attention to the technologies of the body, the voice and the sound in a political sense (politics and poetics). Her practice is deployed through devices that seek to vivify the present, nourished by popular festivities and social movements. Co-creator of Radio Cava-ret, a project associated with listening and theatricality that, following in the footsteps of the Futurists, is enunciated as a radia, as the experimental, erotic and dissident reverse of traditional radio.

Tatiana Antoni Conesa.
Autistic, mutant, non-binary, disca and fat. They practices individual and group accompaniment with a multidisciplinary perspective that includes the systemic, the body and art. They own artistic practice is based on the intervention and creation of images and texts on different formats, seeking to point out systemic violence and change, claiming her own point of view as an echo of the collective voice. Is part of the collective Irreparables.

Radia Cava-ret
Or Radio Cava-ret is a collective work of live art, driven by Samu Céspedes and Violeta Ospina Dguez, which works around radio experimentation, mutual learning of the vibratile body and political listening. Inaugurated in 2016 in Barcelona, it is interested in eroticism as a creative force and the expansion of radio, as the experimental and erotic reverse of traditional radio. Some of its devices are "Chupame el oído" with Patricia Del Razo (2022), "Alivios sonoros" (2022), Karaoke inmigrante, with Patricia Del Razo (2017-2023), "Buzón de orgasmos" (2019), Consultorio sentimental de la Sta. B (2016-2018), among other workshops of radical pedagogy such as "Antes muerta que sencilla" (2020-2021) together with Radio Gigantes & Molinos.
