Comparsa of silence, dance and defiant orality
Activity free of charge without prior registration
We are pleased to invite all corporealities that re-sense the capacitist and colonial normality, to invoke sentires and decires in a collaborative street performance: a comparsa to inhabit silence, slowness and defiant orality; to celebrate our monstrous resistance, dancing and braiding.
Come this Saturday 24 February to participate in this "pasacalles" with Morenada Periférica, Radia Cava-ret, Silvia Maestre Limiñana and members of Irreparables, who will share the rebellious texts, affective gestures and insurrectionary voices that have arrived in the "Bústia d'invocacions #1. Insurrectes".
Thank you to the people who sent their materials in this first delivery of the mailbox: Patri Vizcaino, Frank Trobok, Pati del Razo, La inmunda, La copy-toe, Tatiana Antoni Conesa, Ángela Palacios and Nadia Jbr.
The parade begins its invocation with a braiding at 5 p.m. in front of the Santa Mónica arts centre, continues along the Ramblas towards Plaça Catalunya, dances towards the adaptation works in the direction of the port, and ends again in front of Santa Mónica.
This project is promoted by les Móniques Participation Guild, in its line of reparation research. If you have not been able to share your invocation to insurrection, the mailbox will remain open until June 2024.

Morenada Periférica is a collective of people from different contexts in Chile and other parts of Abya Yala. They are brought together here in Barcelona by the experience of Calú and Jorja, who carnavaleaban and practised La Morenada in their neighbourhood and with the Guerrilla Marika. They are interested in La Morenada as a political, anti-colonial gesture and as a struggle against heteropatriarchy: "by güeviating gender binarism, we simultaneously inhabit different times".
Radia Cava-ret or Radio Cava-ret is a collective work of live art, driven by Samu Céspedes and Violeta Ospina Dguez, which works around radio experimentation, mutual learning of the vibratile body and political listening. Inaugurated in 2016 in Barcelona, it is interested in eroticism as a creative force and the expansion of radio, as the experimental and erotic reverse of traditional radio. Some of its devices are "Chupame el oído" with Patricia Del Razo (2022), "Alivios sonoros" (2022), Karaoke inmigrante, with Patricia Del Razo (2017-2023), "Buzón de orgasmos" (2019), Consultorio sentimental de la Sta. B (2016-2018), among other workshops of radical pedagogy such as "Antes muerta que sencilla" (2020-2021) together with Radio Gigantes & Molinos.
Sílvia Maestre Limiñana. She considers herself a researcher and her artistic creations are a way of communicating the process and results of research into knowledge produced outside the spheres of power and how they coexist with it. She has exhibited in Barcelona: Emergències 3 (2021), Festival Ullal (2022), centre d'arts Santa Mònica (2022), Ca la Dona (2023); and in Alicante: MUA (2021), Nit de l'Art (2022) and Cigarreras (2024). She has participated as a speaker on anti-capacity activism and QueerCrip experiences in several congresses and festivals, and has also written about these issues in different magazines.
Tatiana Antoni Conesa. Autistic, mutant, non-binary, disca and fat. She practices individual and group accompaniment with a multidisciplinary perspective that includes the systemic, the body and art. Her own artistic practice is based on the intervention and creation of images and texts on different formats, seeking to point out systemic violence and change, claiming her own point of view as an echo of the collective voice. She is part of the collective Irreparables.
