Spaces Guild

From the Spaces Guild 2024-2025 (Laura Arensburg, Mana Pinto and Jonah Kawri Ramírez Sturzenegger) we approach this residency from an interrelational place.
 

Our research focuses on exploring the different definitions, reflections and uses of space -particularly considering institutional space- from different perspectives that can generate other relationships around it.

In this sense, our proposals seek to give rise to encounters that invite a space of intimacy and vulnerability through play, enjoyment and movement of intergenerational bodies and bodies with diverse capacities; to get to know the rules of the institution; to observe and question how the instituted influences and institutes collective behaviour in the centre, the public space around the centre, and how it institutes our bodies and thoughts.

Les Mòniques functions as a shared space. Therefore, we understand and internalise that our research will be contaminated together with that of our colleagues from other guilds.
