Digitalisation Guild

From the Digitalisation Guild we approach cultural mediation through playful, performative and humanistic approaches. We are interested in provoking, proposing and prototyping open experiences and devices. We do it from the following concerns and suspicions: How can we problematise and enrich the interaction between people and computational systems? How do we relate, position and situate ourselves with generative artificial intelligences, robotics or social networks? How do the new models of interaction and socialisation that emerge in the post-digital era cross us?
 

We explore, through trial and error. Our priority is not technological development per se, but rather the unconventional use of the possibilities that technologies allow, impose and offer us. We are interested in the experimental and relational, in the hybrid between analogue and digital worlds, between power structures and self-management. We want to test different ways of relating, connecting and interacting with the Santa Mònica and its audiences.
