This device is activated by the idea of displacement, which is central to the research of the Spaces Guild in Residence.

Places, spaces, are re-signified and transformed due to the displacement of actions or new discursive purposes. Even so, one must also listen to the memory they contain and the narrative potential of their geometry and atmosphere.

The aim of the installation (prototype) is to transform the scale of the Santa Mònica tower into a device in itself. The proposal was born after some sessions of situationist observation of Santa Mònica and its surroundings and questioning ourselves about its narrative potential. The device and its activation are mutable and experimental, and will be transformed during the different cycles that Santa Mònica deploys.

The device and its activation will create situations in a programmed way on Tuesday afternoons, at a time prior to the activities programmed at Santa Mònica (Tuesdays of video).
