Talk on Ancestral Intelligences, the theme of this year's IndiFest, a concept that helps us to think about the knowledge and practices of indigenous peoples in the face of social, technological and environmental challenges. Three exceptional guest speakers will discuss aspects related to technologies and knowledge (ancestral knowledge, indigenous epistemologies, technological and digital sovereignty, minority languages on the web), forms of social organisation (collective intelligences, communality) and imaginaries (cosmovisions, utopias and dystopias, indigenous futurism). 

XVII IndiFest Barcelona Indigenous Film Festival

The IndiFest focuses on bringing the film production of Indigenous Peoples closer, showing films made from the point of view of the filmmakers, producers and indigenous communities themselves, enhancing their voice and representativeness. A cinema marked by collective and community production, which tells their own stories and realities, while also being a tool for defending rights and denouncing injustices. IndiFest is organised by alterNativa Intercanvi amb Pobles Indígenes.
