The Previsió: fabulacions per a una guarició decolonial (Forecast: fabulations for decolonial healing) project reflects on the necessary process of decolonisation in modern day Cuban society and proposes a historical review of the origins of racial prejudices in Cuba. The work is based on the vindication and existence of the Previsión newspaper, founded by Evaristo Estenoz, one of the leaders of the Partido de los Independientes de Color (PIC) political party who, along with other party members, was massacred in 1912 on the orders of the second president of the Republic of Cuba, José Miguel Gómez.
