When the original works disappear from the exhibition Holey, there remains a sound resonance that fills the space and allows the energy of what was there to be recreated, generating a new image in a different medium and perceived by another sense.

Referencing the form, the material and its patterns. As time passes, the feedback of the image increases exponentially until it reaches saturation, dissipating our perception of what was there due to the constant appearance of new impulses.

Joan Canyelles (Barcelona, 1995) is a music producer and sound engineer. He looks to erosion and everyday sound space as a source of inspiration for his work. Using mainly the computer and samplers as a creative tool, he develops an experimental musical style, with ramifications towards the club.

He has previously performed live with Hamill Industries at Sónar 2019, solo as s2k2ky presenting unreleased material in late 2022, and participated in the sound design of the inaugural AI+Music concert with Marco Mezquida and the UPC in 2021.

His musical compositions, characterised by their experimental nature, transport the audience to a world where sound becomes a tactile and immersive experience. With an outstanding background, he presented a live performance under the name s2k2ky at the end of the year, offering a unique sound experience. From the sound, he seeks to transmit an immersive experience to the listeners, emphasising the tactile part.
