The fire crackles in the fireplace on yet another evening in the comfortable room of the gentlemen's club, where all is reminiscence and commemoration of less peaceful deeds.
Hardly have the regulars departed, leaving behind the remnants of small celebratory rituals, when the water begins to make its presence felt.
For almost two hours we watch the space flood; slowly but inexorably chaos takes over. Objects submerge and disappear, or float in disarray, the immutable is altered, and the water serves, at last, as a reflection of the man in love with himself.
