"The path of ardour" is conceived as a tentacle of the stage piece "The ardour", putting into practice the theories of associationism, utopia and romanticism that appear in the discourse of the piece. A work of mediation on desire with the neighbours and young people of the Ciutat Vella district, culminating in a pilgrimage through its streets connecting the points of ardour.

"I am Alberto Cortés. I trained as a director and playwright in Malaga, where I also graduated in Art History. I'm on stage because in a way I hate it and in that war I find my place. In 2009 I began my journey on the stage as a director and bastard playwright and over the years it has been transformed into a long process of "wildness" from the Andalusian periphery. I've met various creators who have been part of my training and who at some point have influenced my way of looking at the stage (Gabriela Carrizo, Rodrigo García, David Fernández, Patricia Caballero, etc.), but my greatest inspiration continues to be my close network of friends and local creators.  The path led to something that made me place myself on the stage in the first person. I still hold on to my desire to continue because I have hope in the unnamable, the intangible and the human. I develop my own creations, I share my concerns in the form of workshops and I accompany the work of other creators. Today I develop my identity as a creator, director, playwright, accompanist, performer, teacher, son, uncle, lover, friend".

With the collaboration of the resident artists of the Santa Mònica mediation area.
