Rutes Rares. El traçat de la tecnologia

Starting with some of the devices, apparatus and electronic components present in the exhibition The irruption, the workshop proposes to investigate the mining processes and the global supply chains behind them. The aim of the session is to visualise the layers linked to the materiality of the technologies that underpin some of the exhibition proposals and to weave a narrative around the dynamics of extraction, manufacture, logistics and techniques. The activity is structured on the basis of a tour of the space, during which some of the elements will be identified and then analysed in groups, so carrying out a research project that will finally be shared with the rest of the participants.

Participants are recommended to bring their own computer or some other device to carry out research tasks.
