FLUX 2020

This is the fifteenth edition of Video Auteur Festival FLUX, characterized from the beginning by focusing the protagonism in the authors linked to Barcelona working in the field of video creation (video art, documentary, video installations, etc.).

In this edition of the festival the leading authors are Miguel Andrés, Noemi Sjöberg i Francesc Torres artists with very different backgrounds who enter with their own viewpoint, in the fields of art, video art, installation, performance or audiovisual experimentation. There will be MONOGRAPHIC PROJECTIONS, COLLOQUIUMS with the authors and the release of their SELF-PORTRAITS, new works commissioned by the festival.

In addition, we present the silent video installation FLUX MUT, with the work by Joan Leandre "Ombres entre Esferes Subtils", and the collective video installation FLUX VIDEOCAPSA which experiments with alternative formats of exhibition, with unpublished videos by Francesc Abad, Iñaki Álvarez, Juan Bufill, Carles Congost, Ramon Guimaraes, Benton C Bainbridge & Barbara Held, Enrique Lafuente, Núria Manso, Carlos Pina & Gari and Mana Salehi.

As inaugural event will feature the PERFORMANCE of Cris Blanco "El agitador vórtex (versión Reduction especial Flux)"

This year we have incorporated a new section: COVIDeo. Audiovisual reflections in time to cover mouths, with works that 26 authors have made since March, when the confinement began. We project videos by Albert Alcoz, Nora Ancarola, Miguel Andrés, Carolina Cabrerizo, Elena Ferrer, Lalo García / Raimon Lorda, Kikol Grau, Javier Guerra, Ramon Guimaraes, Miquel Jordà, Violeta Kokopelli, Kònic Thtr, Francesca Llopis, Elisabet Mabres, Núria Manso, Gonzalo Marcuzzi, Jordi Mitjà, Jorge Pérez Aldana, Félix Pérez-Hita, Rrose Present, Diana Rangel, Ana Rodríguez León, Noemi Sjöberg, Jacobo Sucari, Jordi Teixidó and Ulrich Weitzel.
