Exhibition
Guatemala and Honduras have some of the most bountiful natural resources on the planet. However, a greedy desire to exploit their natural wealth has sentenced their people to live in societies whose levels of inequality and violence are second to none. This exhibition features the faces and voices of dozens of “life activists” who are fighting side by side in their regions against the powerful interests of others. Their drive to protect these countries’ rivers, woods and mountains, the original sources of life itself, is focused not only on their communities, but on all of humanity. The lives of the women and men presented here are under the constant threat of corrupt governments, villainous businesses and conscienceless gangs.
