Held on the same day and time as the opening of the exhibition Agencia en porvenir, the activity responds to the excessive number of events currently taking place in the city of Barcelona and arises from the need to think of an alternative practice that breaks with the idea of the event from its core. Refusing to create an event that conceives the audience either as a passive entity or as a mere receptacle of content, we claim and work for an audience never absent again.

For this reason, we build upon the audience, we spent more time reflecting on which people we wanted to have and their focus, than on our monofocus; departing from the expected, X guests, Y topics, consensual contents, and instead aiming to shape a zero row integrated by guests with elective affinities, interested on the labour of Javier Peñafiel and the work process developed alongside him in Agencia en porvenir.

Reversible contents depending on the look, areas of difficult consensus, in order to become cellular, on future.

Linked to Clàudia Elies and Rita Rakosnik’s proposals of appropriation, the activity will include Dolore’s dedramatizing interruptions by Raquel Soto and the listening of the sound landscape Binaural polyphony by Lourdes Soriano.

A book, designed and edited collaboratively by the artist himself and designer Reynaldo Costacurta, will become an active device to be developed and will be offered to the assistants for free.

The activity calls together by its title and especially, by its subtitle Tenderness and accumulation, we are not going to tell you more nothing or nothing more.
