The second edition of the Barcelona Ingràvid aims to place even greater emphasis on what we have called Ingràvid formula, which is simply connecting social, employment and economic sectors, through creativity and artistic production.
We include individuals who are alienated, not only from creation but also from the cultural sector, in the production processes of the pieces which we produce. This system or formula aims, on one hand, to help artistic work focus on the objective of establishing a certain critical and practical purpose, which also therefore contributes to achieving results which citizens can consider they are part of; and on the other, to encourage many who consider culture as occasional entertainment, to appreciate the possibility of service, we could say, of “social service” that it in fact, has.
