The moments experienced mutate over time, become smaller, others are magnified, idealised, forgotten, and some are invented. Another folly of memory is that we can experience exactly the same thing as another person, or persons, and surely their memory and experience will not be the same as ours. For La Santa there is an important nuance to all this, and that is that MEMORY IS A PLACE IN THE BODY. This is the starting point for the videos and photos in a very hard black and white, without greys of Μετέωρα Coordinates: 39°42′45″N 21°37′36″E / 39.7125, 21.626666666667 because for the artist, when we remember, we do not do it with nuances. We simplify emotions. We are firm. We think we know.

For Pablo Carrascosa, rooted in the line of creative abstraction, composing from the photos and videos of La Santa is an attractive challenge in working from visual suggestion. The modular synthesiser will be a very powerful tool and, at the same time, limited in some of its actions. With these elements and from the search for simplicity in the discourse, its function will be to provide a new layer of reading to the imaginary of La Santa.

La Santa', Sandra Ortiz. She has a degree in Art History and has studied photography at the IEFC. Her work as a photographer has focused on music and the performing arts. She almost always uses black and white and her personal works are in analogue. She is fascinated by abandoned, empty places with stories, as well as the bodies that inhabit them - that which is not evident; obscure. In her last project for the 7th Ex Abrupto Festival (2022) her work resulted in the publication of a book. On 22 March 2024 she presents Meteora at L'Albergueria de Vic with Natx Costa and Toni Serrat.

Pablo Carrascosa. With a degree in Composition and Architecture, he has been guest composer at L'Auditori in the 2019/2020 season. His music deals with rhythm, musical objects and space, all from an architectural perspective. Pablo is professor and coordinator of the composition department of Taller de Músics ESEM and teacher of the Master's degree in composition with technologies at ESMUC. Since 2019 he has been artistic director of the contemporary music ensemble CrossingLines. The composer also works as an electronic performer and has recently released experimental Techno tracks.
