Pol Jiménez and Teis Semey, unique and ephemeral connections.

The Catalan dancer Pol Jiménez and the Danish guitarist Teis Semey come together for the first time on a single day to create from scratch a show born from the interaction of the two talents. Improvisation, artistic connection and experimentation serve as the starting point for this unique and ephemeral performance.

Pol Jiménez (Choreographer and dancer)
An artist trained in Spanish dance and flamenco, he is always looking for new ways to enrich his creations. He has premiered his own productions at the Mercat de les Flors, the Sala Hiroshima and the Feria Mediterrània in Manresa, among others. He was awarded "Best Dancer" at the 2018 Critics' Awards for the Performing Arts and at the XXV Butaca Awards. Despite his youth, he has worked with renowned companies and choreographers such as La Fura dels Baus, Cesc Gelabert and Juan Carlos Lérida, among others. He currently forms part of the group Los Aurora, tours with his latest production "Lo faunal" and coordinates the cycles "Se avecina" at the Pla Roig art centre and "Cronexiones" at the La Tacones dance school.

Teis Semey (guitarist)
Danish guitarist trained on the Dutch jazz scene. His sound combines the aggression of punk and the sensitivity of choral music. His latest release "Mean Mean Machine" (Zennez Recuerdos, 2021) is recorded with his band Teis Semey Quintet and has captivated international critics. They were part of the artists of InJazz 2021 and Jazzahead! Showcase in 2022. They have also been selected for the Footprints 2022-2023 sustainable touring programme.
