Miranda Fernández & Marina Paje

Miranda Fernández and Marina Paje join forces to create a duo that is tender and mischievous in equal parts. A journey between flamenco melody and contemporary dance. Their repertoire includes Miranda's own compositions. The performance takes on an equal parts classical and crazy tone, a rhythmic and melodic explosion!

Marina Paje: Flamenco dancer, born in Madrid in 1991, professional dancer trained at the professional dance conservatory "Comandante Fortea" in Madrid. Marina started dancing when she was only three years old, and five years later, she entered the Conservatory of her hometown, Madrid, where she finished her studies obtaining a degree in Spanish Dance. 
She is currently a member of José Manuel Álvarez's company. She performs in different venues and tablaos in Barcelona, the city where she lives. She also combines her work as an artist with teaching, giving classes in different schools in Barcelona.

Miranda Fernández, 21 years old. She studied at the prestigious Escuela Superior de Música Taller de Músics in Barcelona. She combines flamenco, jazz and Latin piano. She has played as a soloist in the Nou Barris Flamenco Festival and has performed in prestigious auditoriums and theatres such as the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Auditori de Barcelona, Konserthuset Stockholm, Teatre Nacional de China, etc. He has been part of different artistic projects such as the "Barcelona Flamenco Ballet", "La Sant Andreu Jazz Band", "Companyia José Manuel Álvarez", "Mediterrànis amb Antonio Canales" and others.
