Dimecres de so i cos

Through dance, Carme Torrent proposes to put into play, to re-enchant the transition materials between bodies, between movements, between images. A way of attending to that which cannot be capitalized.

Superimposed inscriptions. An interpellation to put into play, to re-enchant the transitional materials between bodies, between movements, between images. A place of passage in the world making and unmaking itself. As in a certain experience of disidentification and strangeness, between preformance and performance, the scene, unstable, interrupting, vibrating, paradoxical, denotes the incompleteness of any appearance as its constituent condition, inserts itself in the fissures, puts a certain economy in crisis and attends to the care of what cannot be capitalized. How can we imagine or even dream of a dance that we would like to see without the obligation of knowing how to do it now?

Moure's sobre res (Moving over nothing) refers to an event composed of three scenic pieces: 'Cossos  monàrquics' (Monarchical bodies), '100 focs horitzontals' (100 horizontal fires), 'Construcció amorosa' (Amorous construction). Also, Moure's sobre res is composed of encounters and movement practices with people coming from very diverse backgrounds. The exhibition is therefore the result of this collective experience.
