In Aquàtica, a series of hydrophones inserted into water-filled jars record the sounds produced by air bubbles inside them. The different sound sources and relatively low air pressure result not only in a variety of aquatic sounds, but also in a thick layer of drones that almost sounds like electronic music. We mix these sounds manually in a concert of about 20 minutes. After the concert, the audience can approach the installation and listen to the sounds up close.

BOSCH & SIMONS
Since the beginning of their collaboration in Amsterdam in 1985, Peter Bosch and Simone Simons have been involved in activities such as performances, concerts and theatre productions. Since 1990, however, they have focused their attention on the construction of "musical machines". These are all dynamic: sound and movement are in constant development. The Krachtgever is their best known work because of the Golden Nica they received at the PrixArsElectronica, Linz, 1998. Other projects are Cantan un Huevo (Metrònom, Barcelona, 2001) and Aguas Vivas which received a mention at VIDA 6.0, Madrid, 2003. In 2012 Mirlitones premiered at DordtYart, Dordrecht, The Netherlands. A work that has subsequently been shown at ICMC 2013, Perth/Fremantle and at the Soundtravels in Sound Art Festival, Toronto, 2015, and in 2016 at the exhibition "Arte sonoro en España, 1961-2016", Museo Fundación Juan March, Palma. In 2019 they premiered Último Intento Minero at "Callejón del Ruido", Guanajuato, Mexico, Spring Tide at "WaddenTide", Blavandshuk, Denmark, and also started the series Acuática at CentroCentro, Madrid, within the VANG programme.
They have lived and worked in Chelva (Valencia) since 1997.
