With Juf (Beatriz Ortega Botas and Leto Ybarra)
This talk proposes a personal journey through the relationship between love, fear, theatricality and the mechanisms of amplification and silence. Drawing on the work of contemporary poets and archival poetry, as well as artists and scholars such as Amalle Dublon, Justin Allen and Judy Grahn, we will generate a Theatre of the Ears.

Juf is an independent space and publishing project, based in Madrid, that explores the relationship between poetry, art, theatricality and desire. Curated by Bea Ortega Botas and Leo Ybarra, Juf's programme is interested in thinking with different scriptural economies; permutations of sound, rhythm and tone, theatrical resistances to realism and coherence, and diverse grammars and architectures linked to rhetoric, deception, ventriloquism or saturation to complexify and address official narratives and voids.
