"No hay acto creativo" de Norberto Llopis Segarra

No creative act is a lecture-perfomance. In it, using various archival materials from his previous works, and through actions, phrases, the use of objects and discourses, Norberto Llopis Segarra attempts to characterise artistic practice from the notion of Operation, no longer from the notion of Action, an operation carried out by one or multiple operators, but by one or several actors. Operation as a procedure or reiterative impropriety through which we intervene a territory, a triggering operation that always puts a small sovereign in disequilibrium and precipitates the deconstruction of a medium.

Norberto Llopis Segarra, choreographer and performer, works at the boundary between dance and thought. Graduated in Dance and Choreography at the Institut del Teatre; Master in Performing Arts at DasArts, AHK Amsterdam; Degree in Philosophy at the UNED; Master in Advanced Studies in Philosophy at the Universidad Complutense and is currently working on his doctoral thesis on aesthetics in the thought of Derrida and Deleuze at the University of Barcelona. She has developed her work between Barcelona, Brussels and the Netherlands. His artistic practice ranges from working with and on the body to the use of objects and materials for the construction and reflection on space. In her approach to philosophy, she tries to develop a practice of thinking and writing about the body, movement and performativity. Thus, his practice oscillates between rehearsal, choreography, performative lecture, installation or durational actions.
