Júlia Colom is the name of the singer and composer born in Valldemossa, Mallorca, in 1997. Her folkloric background forms the basis of her work. She began singing at the age of 7 when her grandfather taught her the Canto de Sibila. This is how she naturally learnt the rural repertoire of the island, but from the age of fifteen, moved by the desire to know more, she met witnesses willing to teach her tunes from pre-tourist Mallorca. Part of this process is reflected in "Siempre Jueves", a documentary produced by FILMIN and winner of the Festival Inédito 2020 as Best National Documentary by the jury.

She has sung in New York, India, France, Germany, Portugal, among others. She is currently immersed in the creation of her first album, which will feature her own songs and Mallorcan tunes. It will be released this April.
