Adelaida

With the piece "Cántaro"

Adelaida lives and works in the moon. A mermaid in winter and a witch in summer, she raises her voice in an incantation: infinite layers of songs form her songs. She composes her music like a leaping girl, always driven by impulse, in the intimacy of her studio. There she plays with the mirror: she hears herself and discovers herself.

With a degree in Fine Arts, her musical training is unorthodox: the heart was her home during her childhood and adolescence and everything she drank then now feeds her practice. Today, she takes to the stage alone, with looper and laptop, where she leads the audience through spaces of introspection.

In the last year, Ableton has become her best friend and together they have generated a choral album with electronic touches: Cántaro.
