Empty houses
The compilation of sequences proposed for this session have been extracted from various sources: UFO archives, silent films, Rosellini's "Germania, anno zero", fragments of the short documentary "Huellas Robadas" (2003) and an investigation into the sofa as an emotional trap. Through them, a critical reflection will be proposed on the antagonism between abandoned spaces and the overload of signifiers with which the contemporary media bombard the spectator and plunge him or her into emptiness. In the face of this, a start is proposed for the recovery of the gaze that has reverie as its axis.
