Black and white photography is a timeless art that involves curious mechanisms: its subject is reality, but the absence of colour creates an intrinsic barrier with the reality it portrays. As in a dream, this allows for a level of abstraction that brings certain qualities to the images; they can come closer to the representation of symbols, as the viewer pays attention to form, shape, texture, light, shadow, memory. This exploration of our free-flowing world through a journey of still images in movement provides a space for the music to develop.

Likewise, "Yakamoz" is the result of a conversation between Cadhla Kennedy Ko and Thodoris Ziarkas, a double bass player and composer of Greek origin. Thodoris comes from the most experimental school of free jazz, so his talks focus on how to draw a process of creation that embraces all that is random and accepts the concept of impermanence.
