Rroser Present and Florencia Aliberti, a journey of contrasts through their work
Open and free activity with a limited capacity of 55 people
Rroser Present and Florencia Alberti reflect on cinema and celluloid through their pieces in this double session. The artists take a journey through their works and play with reflections, focuses, lights and filmic supports to invite us to reflect on the way we relate to the world of art, nature and film, as well as on the female references of the seventh art and experimental cinema that have gone unnoticed for a large part of its history.
Rroser Present pays homage to Marie Merken in her work "Lights", an inspiration that the artist found by testing focus, blur and camera movements to film the lights of the fair with her new reflection.
Florencia Alberti tries in her works to mix nature with the filmic, the artist experiments with a collection of elements of nature accumulated over several seasons. In a kinetic approach to the natural world, Alberti's short film explores the epidermal dimension of the matter that the film makes emerge on its own skin.
