Kònic thtr is an artistic platform based in Barcelona dedicated to contemporary creation at the confluence of art and new technologies. Its activity focuses on the use of interactive technology applied to artistic projects.
Rosa Sánchez and Alain Baumann are the driving forces behind the conceptual, creative and technological line of Kònic (Thtr&Lab). Both have a long professional career in relation to new technologies applied to installation, performance, dance and theatre.
Kònic thtr is internationally recognised as a pioneer in the use and incorporation of interactive technology in creative projects. Its proposals have been shown in Catalonia, Spain, Europe, America, Asia and Africa.
Kònic thtr's research over more than two decades has allowed them to develop a personal and unique language in this field of contemporary creation.
In this session we will watch a selection of videos of their performances between 1994 and 2019.
