Superelvis

With the presence of Anki Toner, Meteo Giráldez and Raimon Aymerich.

Superelvis was a group of experimental and improvised music, which they themselves defined as "emotional music of resistance".

It was formed in Barcelona in 1986 by Anki Toner (vocals, harmonica, texts), Meteo Giráldez (guitar, bass, accordion, piano, viola, percussion) and Raimon Aymerich (piano, guitar, bass, drums, percussion and melodica). In 1995 they were joined by Alfredo Costa Monteiro (accordion, piano, guitar, bass, bass, percussion). They were active until 2001 and recorded a total of eleven albums and four cassettes, which can be downloaded for free on the netlabel 16RPM. In 1991 they received the first prize in the Biennial of Young Creators of the Barcelona City Council. In 1996 their album Happiness is stupid was chosen "Best national album of the year" by Rockdelux magazine.
