Cabosanroque
General public
Open and free activity with a limited capacity of 55 people
With Laia Torrents i Roger Aixut.
Cabosanroque is, since 2012, a couple of sound artists (Laia Torrents and Roger Aixut) but was born as a large musical collective in 2001 in Barcelona (the members were also Núria Carrera, Pepe Seguí, Ramon Garriga, Carles Martínez-Almoyna and Alberto Mezquiriz). Straddling visual arts, performing arts and experimental music, their work revolves around the performative capacities of the machine, the object and especially sound. These three axes of work and research have led to the creation of their own unique artistic narrative, an easily identifiable and non-transferable language. Since 2015 they have been resident artists at the Lluís Coromina Foundation in Banyoles.
In this session we will see a selection of videos of their performances and installations between 2003 and 2018.
