The Sala d'Art Jove grant has enabled Eduard Olesti to buy a ticket for the most thunderous cruise he could find. An odyssean voyage around the western Mediterranean with an open beer bar. In this performance, Eduard will explain the misadventures he will have experienced first-hand on one of these so-called vertical cemeteries. Inspired by David Foster Wallace's famous chronicle, the proposal aims to rewrite a text from a political-emotional context very different from that of the Yankee author.

Eduard Olesti is a writer, stage director and curator. He has published the books of poems Sarcop and Un cowboy crepuscular and the novel Gossos dempeus. His works have been premiered at the Antic Teatre or Paral·lel 62, as well as in other non-conventional spaces.
