At a time of extreme drought, Carles Rebassa and Núria Martínez-Vernis know that "too much rain means catastrophe". The verses of one and the other will be woven together to make poetry a space of reality, of forcefulness, of beauty, of revolt and of whatever it is that they dare to know how to invent.

Núria Martínez-Vernis (Barcelona, 1976): she has published L'acròbata tampoc no en sortirà il-lès, Quantes mentides fan una sola veritat, Deix on dir (with the illustrator Roger Abella), Acohols (with Martí Sales) and Desnonissea (with Oriol Sauleda). She is a member of the group Cataclístics. She is part of the group Anarquia és independència (with Roger Pelàies, Martí Sales and David Caño). She is also a member of the poetic improvisation group Nicomendes Mendes (with Víctor Bonet Arbolí, Oriol Sauleda and Guim Valls), with whom she has recorded an album with Pierre Bastien. She is a member of the Moviment d'Insurrecció Sonora and takes part in poetry, music and improvisation festivals. She has worked with artists such as the playwright Roger Bernat and cabosanroque. She teaches creativity and poetry workshops for people of different backgrounds and ages, in schools, libraries, teachers, institutions and foundations.  

Carles Rebassa (Palma, 1977) is the author of Poema B, Els joves i les vídues, Pluja de foc, Sons bruts and El Caire Formentera. He is also the author of two novels: Eren ells and Divendres, dissabte, diumenge, which will soon be published by Editorial Empúries.
