The knowledge of a master is that knowledge which, if it does not come from a master, is worthless. It is all those things that the señoros know that you don't. You know little things, but it's not the same. You know a few things, but it's not the same thing. They are all those gestures, attitudes, ways of transmitting and looks that occupy all the space and cross all the speeches. These gentlemen have all the security that you wouldn't dream of and can be experts in any area of knowledge.

But don't worry, we have set up a table ("mesa camilla") at which we have called the Grup Jordi Hurtado, a strategic and mutant name, just as our bodies are mutant. We will cook the knowledge around the brazier through the shared word. El saber señoro me come el c* is an open space to think through the spoken and collective word about everything that has to do with dominant knowledge. We will also try to find out how we can construct other forms of knowledge.

This 25th of January, come to listen to or to crack down on the dominant knowledge on the couch table. There will be a performance, open mic, music and drinks. Because the know-how eats my c*ck.

Grup Jordi Hurtado is the name used by all those who want to share their experiences of the dominant knowledge in the space El Saber señoro me come el coño (which could also be me come el culo). This space is maintained by a small group, although many other participants have circulated there. El Saber señoro me come el coño began as part of "Las Mesas Camillas", a call organised by El Hule through the Laboratorios Ciudadanos (2021) and later received the support of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona (2022). They currently meet periodically at the Santa Mònica arts centre.

Thursdays of voice and word 2024 builds on the proposals of regularly invited creators: Blanca Llum Vidal, Eduard Olesti, Sònia Moya, Esteve Plantada, Grup Jordi Hurtado, Àrea de Lletres de la Bonne, PEN Català and Sodepau.
